•Accountant

Capital Dynamics is an independent funds management group with roots in Asia and has consistently outperformed the markets. Capital Dynamics Australia is looking to recruit an Accountant for its new operations. As part of a small team, you will perform a broad range of duties.

Your role will include:

Fulfilling the monthly, quarterly and annual financial accounting requirements;
Preparing reports essential for the effective management of the business, including budgets, forecasts, and timely reconciliations;
Handling payroll & superannuation and tax matters such as GST, FBT, Payroll Tax, etc;
Dealing with our external auditor and tax agent;
Assisting the GM in compliance and administrative matters;
Developing procedures and controls for the business.

You should have +3 years accounting experience, be degree qualified. Candidates who are CPA qualified or close to qualification are preferred. Some previous experience in the funds management industry is essential, and familiarity with reporting requirements and deadlines to ASIC is an advantage.

•Accounting / Finance Manager

The Accounting/Finance Manager will set up and supervise financial and management accounting policies and functions across our various companies located in several countries. Besides being responsible for the whole set of financial reporting, she needs to also perform controllership duties and assist in tax planning. She will be responsible for the performance of the staff in the accounts department.

Besides possessing an Honours degree in Accounting or the relevant professional qualification, she needs to have supervisory experience and is expected to be in the late twenties or early thirties. •Marketing/Business Development Executive

She is expected to assist in developing marketing and business development strategies to promote, position and brand the group and its services, locally and globally. She will also be responsible for implementing and evaluating the plans.

As Capital Dynamics is Asia's first global fund manager, this position offers mind-stretching potential. You need to be a self-starter, able to think out of the box and yet be focused. Having 2-3 years sales/marketing experience in the financial services industry is an asset. An ability to communicate flawlessly in English is vital and fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.

Applicants with a double-major degree in Marketing with Finance or Accounting or Economics are preferred. Investment Analysts who desire a career switch would find this position attractive. Travelling is expected.

•Technical / Quantitative Analyst

The Technical/Quantitative Analyst will research and conduct analysis of investments using quantitative methods and tools from Technical Analysis.

Besides possessing at least a 2nd Upper Honours or a 3.5 CGPA in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computational Finance or Financial Engineering, applicants must have solid theoretical foundations in their majors. Applicants fluent in both English and Mandarin are preferred.

The Accounting Standards Analyst needs to possess a strong theoretical knowledge of local and global accounting standards and financial reporting.
