The CEO of Capital Dynamics is convinced that electric vehicles (EV) will eventually dominate the global automotive industry. An important factor is that EV technology is improving so fast that the internal combustion engines will soon be museum pieces. Even more crucial than this is the worsening climate crisis all over the world. The inhumane heat wave, the wildfires, the droughts and the floods will naturally convince consumers that buying EV is the smart and only choice. Just take a look at the climate related problems across the northern hemisphere, from Japan, South Korea, China to central Asia to the whole of Europe and UK and to Canada and the United States. Imagine what the planet will be like when global warming hits 2°C above the historical average or more. The numbers from Jul 2026 are in, and they are staggering: across the continental United States, the month shattered nearly 3,000 daily temperature records - 2,608 heat records against just 350 cold records - in three separate waves that took turns torching the East Coast, the Northern Plains, and the desert Southwest. Climate scientist Brian Brettschneider said Jul 2026 has almost certainly done something that has not happened in nearly 90 years: outrun the Dust Bowl era. Jul 2026 is likely to be America's hottest month ever.
