On a month-on-month basis, nominal and real expenditure for two-or-more-person households in Jun declined by 6.2% and 6.4% respectively. On a year-on-year basis, nominal and real monthly expenditure fell by 1.5% and 3.3% respectively. The average propensity to consume for worker households in Jun dropped to 59.9%, the lowest level since Jul 2024 (figure 1).
