In Jun 2026, retail trade decreased by 0.3% month-on-month, following a 0.4% increase in the previous month. The decline was mainly driven by lower sales of food, drinks and tobacco, as well as non-food products (excluding automotive fuel) (table 1).

On a year-on-year basis, retail trade increased by 0.7% in Jun (figure 1). The growth was mainly supported by sales of food, drinks and tobacco, as well as non-food products (excluding automotive fuel).
