This week, i Capital initiates coverage on Feytech Holdings Berhad (“Feytech”), an automotive cover and seat manufacturer who made its Bursa Malaysia debut on 21 May 2024. Founded in Johor Bahru in 2002 by the late Go Yoong Fei and his family partners, Feytech has grown over the past 22 years from its humble beginnings into Malaysia’s third-largest automotive cover manufacturer.
Feytech’s automotive seat division involves the manufacturing and supply of fully assembled seats, including both manual and power-adjustable versions for front and rear ones. The automotive cover division produces both standalone covers —supplied separately from seats and other interior components—and covers sold together with interior parts. For products bundled with interior components, the non-cover parts—such as door trims, steering wheels, gear knobs, handbrake handles, and consoles—are sourced from suppliers appointed by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) rather than Feytech itself. The company’s automotive covers are primarily genuine or synthetic leather, although various material types are combined to meet the diverse requirements of customers.

Note from Publisher
i Capital will pause its publication for one issue in the week beginning 21 Jul. However, www.icapital.biz will be updated as usual and the operating hours of our Kuala Lumpur office will remain unchanged. Volume 37, number 1 of i Capital will henceforth be dated 31 Jul - 6 Aug 2025.
This is the last issue of i Capital for volume 36. We will begin Volume 37 after a one-week pause. Since Volume 35, each volume of i Capital has consisted of 44 issues. i Capital takes a break 8 weeks in a year. Producing a weekly publication has a tight deadline and is very exhaustive. Hence, apart from logistics reason, taking a short break provides an opportunity for i Capital to refresh and reboot. Taking a break can help one to think clearer, see things from different perspectives, and analyse critically. This is crucial for an investment advisor that strives to provide independent, sound and objective advice.
We would like to thank all subscribers for their unwavering support since 1989. i Capital will continue to improve its analyses and deliver better services to all its subscribers. It has also been reviewing its pricing structure, especially with costs of everything having increased substantially in the last 15 years.
