This week, i Capital updates on icapital.biz Berhad (ICAP or the Fund), a closed-end fund set up as a company, listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia since October 2005. ICAP provides investors-particularly those with limited capital and investing skills-with easy access to a professionally managed portfolio of undervalued Malaysian equities.
Its closed-end structure eliminates the liquidity pressures typically faced by open-ended funds, enabling a truly long-term investment approach. With no redemption pressure, the fund manager can maintain a patient buy-and-hold approach even during market downturns, allowing the power of compounding to enhance returns over time.
Managed by Capital Dynamics Asset Management Sdn Bhd, ICAP continues to deliver strong capital appreciation through highly disciplined long-term value investing. This unwavering focus on undervalued equities and a long-term horizon has proven effective, as demonstrated by the fund's steady and substantial growth in net asset value (NAV).

World Expo is one of the most prestigious events in the world. Held once every five years, countries around the world compete to host the event. Hosting a World Expo is a significant international honor and an opportunity to showcase a nation's culture, achievements, and future vision. World Expo 2025 is currently being held at Osaka, Japan, with over 150 participating countries.
Malaysian food has been voted the most delicious at the Osaka World Expo 2025, according to a survey conducted by Japan's Yomiuri TV among the Expo’s season pass holders. Roti canai emerged as one of the star attractions. Despite being priced at RM50 per piece, around 1,500 pieces were sold daily at the expo. Many visitors were willing to queue for 2 hours just to taste Malaysia’s roti canai. As Malaysia celebrates its 68th year of independence, all Malaysians must cherish and zealously guard the country’s unique multi-racial culture and reject the divisive acts of rogue politicians. Whether it is nasi lemak or bak kut teh or hokkien mee, they are all Malaysian food.
